What Is This Workshop?

Android App Development Workshop

A major share of hand-held devices run on the Android Operating System — which is open source and fully customizable. This workshop provides participants with technical training on the concepts and programming methodologies needed to develop real applications for mobile devices.

You do not need to be a programming geek to get started. The workshop begins from the very basics — designing layouts and building complex UI — then progresses into building fully functional apps with databases, maps, sensors, and hardware integration.

The 2-day, 16-hour intensive session closes with a competition where participants build and present their own Android app. All participants receive a Certificate of Participation and winners receive a Certificate of Merit.
